High Salvington Windmill, early 20th century
There has been a mill at High Salvington since the 1740s. This photograph shows the mill with the concrete roundhouse that replaced the wooden one in c1922. This served as a tearoom, but was replaced by a wooden structure in 1990 to restore the mill to its original appearance.
